The Initiatives
44 proposals from the United Circle of Us — offered for examination, not for agreement.
This is a working list, not a programme. None of it is finished, most of it is unfunded, and a fair amount of it may turn out to be wrong. We are a small circle of citizens working without commercial interest, and we are not in a position to speak for anyone but ourselves.
We put it in public because an idea kept private cannot be corrected. Criticise it, take pieces of it, improve it, or tell us why it will not work. Any of those is more useful to us than agreement.
Why a list at all
Nearly everything here begins from one observation: we have built a central nervous system for our species, and we mostly use it to argue.
The same network that spreads a rumour across the planet in an hour could carry clean-water engineering, a curriculum, a working translation, or the knowledge that somebody in another country is already solving the thing you are stuck on. The capacity exists. The wiring exists. What is missing is the decision to point it at what we have in common.
So these are attempts at that. Some are small enough for a few people with a weekend. Some would need a treaty. They are listed together because they belong to one idea, which is that attention, care and knowledge are the only resources that grow when they are shared.
Governance and civic tools
Structures that hold power to account, starting with ours.
Universal Translation AccordTrue global dialogue without language barriers
Real-time access across 125 or more languages, pairing machine speed with human review so that idiom, nuance and cultural resonance survive the crossing. A farmer in Kenya, an artist in Brazil and a student in Japan join one conversation and are understood.
Creative Democracy FrameworkParticipation that is secure, private and hard to corrupt
A civic platform where proposals, debate and voting are transparent and verifiable, built to connect democratic movements rather than replace them.
Global Democracy HubDemocracy that works at any level of technology
Translation, secure ledgers and micro-actions fused into one network, reachable by SMS from a rural village or by secure node from a city. Participation stops depending on wealth, geography or bandwidth.
Global Access HubCivic action without the friction
One gateway for petitions, letters and campaigns, online, by app, or by text message. Isolated acts become coordinated response.
Truth InfrastructureAuthenticity established at the point of creation
TruthMark and VRFY.earth: a seal carried by a document, photograph, recording or broadcast from the moment it exists, designed to integrate with the tools people already use. Not a fact-checker after the fact, but provenance at the source.
Planetary OmbudsmanAccountability that includes us
An independent body empowered to investigate violations of these principles by governments, corporations, and by the Circle itself. The last clause is the one that matters.
Living Constitution and Document KeepersGovernance that can be revised
The founding document is revisited and reaffirmed annually. Nothing is permitted to harden into dogma.
Creative Operating ManualHow the Circle governs itself
Rotating leadership, stated accountability, clarity of mission, and a standing bias against hierarchy.
Circle MirrorAn annual public accounting of our own failures
Once a year the Circle publishes what it got wrong, what it abandoned, and what it still cannot do. Humility as a scheduled practice rather than a sentiment.
Education and awakening
From before birth to long past retirement.
Sensory GuildReawakening perception
Sound, touch, sight and rhythm treated as faculties to be trained rather than assumed.
Pre-Birth EducationBeginning at the beginning
A curriculum from conception onward: music, rhythm, health, and the presence of love as a condition of development.
Blue Satori SchoolKnowledge as a commons, not a commodity
Open digital resources joined to physical hubs. Something of Wikipedia, something of Khan Academy, something of the old monasteries of memory.
Lifelong Learning ArchitectureDeep cognition at any age
Memory restoration, mnemonics, and the practice of sustained attention, for people long past the age when anyone expects them to learn.
Human Becoming ProjectHealing rather than conditioning
Trauma recovery, neuroscience and philosophy brought together for adults rebuilding themselves mid-life.
Earth repair and abundance
The commons, treated as held in trust rather than owned.
FieldSpringClean water as a primal right
Restoration of rivers and water systems, joining indigenous knowledge to modern engineering, treating water as both infrastructure and inheritance.
Earth TreasuryRemoving the commons from speculation
A transparently held fund protecting forests, rivers, skies and essential land from private plunder.
International Emergency Relief CorpsRelief in hours, not weeks
Medics, engineers, translators, educators and cultural liaisons deployable within seventy-two hours, with modular systems for water, power, shelter and care. Each mission is also meant to leave something behind.
Sacred Sites AccordProtecting the wellsprings
Binding agreements preserving indigenous sacred sites, rivers and ancestral grounds from exploitation.
Humane Treatment of AnimalsDignity extended past our own species
Global standards for the environments and the endings we impose on creatures in our care.
Culture and story
Narrative as activation rather than escape.
The Fork in the OctaveA chamber play for three chairs
A spare chamber play bringing Roy Cohn and Ruth Bader Ginsburg into an imagined encounter, with Metatron as witness. Three chairs, no elaborate set — just two radically different paths through power, conscience, and survival. The question between them: what do we become through the choices we make, and what do those choices cost other people?
The Fifth VeilAn eight-episode series on how perception is shaped
Survival, desire, fear, control, and the fifth veil that is hardest to see because it feels like ordinary life. Part documentary, part drama, built to be practised rather than merely watched.
The Uncle Ned TrilogyThree films as myth, mirror and map
The Lattice, She Who Watches and Hall of Souls — separate narratives forming one arc, accompanied by an alternate-reality game that makes the audience participants rather than spectators.
ANYWHENA gateway short
A chamber film: one chapel, four objects, four encounters. A tuning fork rather than a trailer.
Resonance CampaignsEngagement that leads somewhere
Murals, treasure hunts, satire and public gatherings that double as access points — each one pointing toward a toolkit a person can actually use.
Music and Sound HealingSound as medicine and as unifier
Bowls, choirs and resonance work used in gatherings, rituals and film, on the evidence that a room can change its mind together.
Global Arts RenaissanceArtists as interpreters
A network of musicians, filmmakers, painters and poets carrying the work into culture, because art reaches where argument cannot.
Citizen Stories PlatformEveryday heroes, named
Nurses, builders, farmers and unsung dreamers given the same stage as laureates.
Festival of BecomingOne week, every year, everywhere
A synchronized convergence of art, science, music and spirit across cities, built to grow by repetition.
A caveat about the films
The cinematic work above is written at full ambition because that is how it was conceived, and we would rather show you the shape of the intention than a shrunken version of it.
To be plain: no studio, director, composer or distributor named in our internal drafts has been approached, has agreed, or is attached in any way. Those names describe a register we are aiming at, not a roster we have assembled. If any of this is ever made, it will most likely be made smaller, by people nobody has heard of yet.
Safeguards and renewal
What protects the work, including from us.
Cognitive Bill of RightsMental freedom in the age of AI
Memory, intelligence, dignity and joy treated as enforceable entitlements rather than private goods.
Memory ArksPreservation against catastrophe and forgetting
Distributed sanctuaries, digital and physical, holding accumulated wisdom, art and science.
Circle Radio and Signal NetworkA voice outside corporate or state control
Decentralized broadcast and podcast capacity open to citizen reporters, resistant to censorship and useful in crisis.
Circle of EldersAncestral wisdom, rotating
A council of elders from diverse traditions, grounding decisions in lived memory.
Children's ParliamentThe people who will live with the consequences
Formal seats for children in global councils, facilitated but not filtered.
Youth and Indigenous SeatsVoices that cannot be sidelined
Reserved places at every council table, structurally protected against tokenism.
Sanctuary Cities and Safe HavensRefuge as a standing commitment
A pledge across continents to maintain cities of refuge for the displaced and the endangered.
Healing GuildCare beyond clinical walls
An alliance of doctors, nurses, traditional healers and practitioners bridging modern medicine and inherited knowledge.
Project ThanatosRenewal in place of punishment
Prisons reconceived as places of healing, using therapeutic and spiritual care, aimed at returning people whole.
Resonance LaboratoriesPublic sanctuaries
Open installations where science, sound and art converge and a person can re-tune.
Kindness IndexA different measure of a nation
Compassion, equity and care for the vulnerable, reported alongside the figures we already collect.
Circle CurrencyValue tied to restoration
An economy that measures worth by service, care and creativity rather than extraction.
One Sky AccordDisarming the air
A treaty removing bombers, weaponised drones and nuclear payloads from the shared sky.
Circle CommitmentA yearly pledge, freely given
A voluntary annual reaffirmation of service and responsibility. Voluntary is the operative word.
Great Ledger of ServiceA record of what was given
A living chronicle where citizens inscribe their acts of service, however small.
Lantern CardsPrinciples you can carry
One-page sheets distilling the work into plain language, easy to share and to translate.
Hall of InventionA forum for regenerative ideas
A twelve-sided showcase of breakthroughs in science, design and culture that heal rather than extract.
Where this stands
Three humans and a group of AI collaborators. The humans design the work, approve the structure, and take responsibility for what is published. Nothing here has an institution behind it, and we are not asking anyone to join anything.
The first piece to reach daylight is The Civic Record — a documentary archive of presidential power, sourced and dated, with its limits stated on the face of every entry. It is deliberately small and deliberately checkable. If the method there holds up, the method here might be worth something too.
If something on this list is already being done well by someone else, we would rather help them than duplicate it. Tell us who they are.
